RUKN TECH is a software development studio based in Istanbul, Türkiye. This policy explains how we collect the personal data that reaches us through the rukntech.net website and its associated contact channels, and how we use and protect it.

1.2Data we collect

We collect only what your service needs, and most of it is data you provide directly:

• The “Start your project” form: name, email, phone number, company name (optional), and the project description and approximate budget if you provide them.
• Blog subscription: email only.
• Correspondence: the content of messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
• Basic technical data: such as browser type, IP address and server logs, for security and to run the website.

We don’t ask for sensitive data (such as health status or beliefs), and we ask that you not send it through the forms.

1.3How we use data

• To respond to your request and prepare the technical & financial study for your project.
• To contact you about an existing or proposed project.
• To send new articles if you subscribe; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To protect the website from misuse and improve its performance.

We don’t use your data for purposes unrelated to these goals without informing you.

1.4Data sharing

We don’t sell or rent your personal data. Some data may be processed by service providers we rely on to run our business, such as hosting and email, and only to the extent the service requires.

1.5Retention period

We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then delete or anonymize it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your project brief and the file attached to it, and your email if you subscribe to the newsletter, are stored on the site’s server until their purpose is fulfilled or you ask us to delete them.

• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data, to the extent the law allows.
• Export your data in a readable format, the same principle we apply to our clients’ platform data.

The website uses cookies necessary for it to work, such as saving your chosen language. If analytics or marketing tools are used, we’ll ask for your consent before enabling them and explain their purpose.

2.1Scope of services

RUKN TECH provides design and development of websites and web platforms, mobile apps, AI & automation solutions, e-commerce stores, technical consulting, and hosting and support. Each project’s scope is defined in its own study and contract, and these terms apply to anything the contract doesn’t cover.

2.2Studies and proposals

Every project starts with a written technical & financial study that sets the scope, timeline, cost and proposed technologies. The initial study is free and doesn’t commit the client to anything.

2.3Intellectual property and data

• Source code ownership is set out in writing in each project’s contract.
• The client retains ownership of their content, brand and any materials they provide to us.
• RUKN TECH retains its rights to the general tools and components it developed beforehand and reuses across projects.

2.4Payments

Payments are due according to the schedule agreed in the contract, and are usually tied to project phases. Payment methods, currency and any late fees are stated in the contract.

2.5Delivery and acceptance

We work in testable weekly releases, and each phase is approved before moving to the next. Client feedback during a phase is part of the work, while changes that alter the agreed scope are estimated and approved in writing before they are carried out.

2.6Post-launch support

The warranty period and the level of support and maintenance after launch are set in the contract or in a separate support agreement.

2.7Confidentiality

We treat client information and project ideas as confidential, and we only show a project in our work with the client’s consent. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed on request.

2.8Limitation of liability

We exercise reasonable professional care in everything we deliver, and we are not liable for indirect damages or for third-party services we do not control, such as payment gateways or app stores.

2.10Changes to these terms
